Coincidence or fate? The two sisters Sarah and Isabel Leodolter have their birthday on the same day and now they also became mothers on the same day. No help was offered: their babies saw the light of day naturally.
Adelheid Leodolter has been running the popular inn Brücklmühle in Ramsau in the district of Lilienfeld in Lower Austria for many years. On July 30 of this year, the corks popped especially loudly – after all, there were two reasons to celebrate at Leodolter. On the same day, Adelheid’s daughters Sarah and Isabel give birth to each of their adorable sons Felix and Anton.
Both births were natural – and so apparently purely “accidental” on the same day. The Leodolters still don’t believe in coincidence. The bond between the two sisters is too close for that – despite the distance that separates the two in everyday life. While Sarah stayed in Ramsau and settled there not far from her parents’ house, Isabel moved to Upper Austria.
Mother celebrates the day before
Isabel lives with her partner (and son Anton) in Unterweißenbach in the Freistadt district of the Mühlviertel. She calls her older sister every day. Coincidentally, the two have been separated for exactly two years on the day. Sarah was born on December 3, 1997, Isabel on December 3, 1999.
So the Leodolters celebrate four anniversaries in two days. And there were almost five: mother Adelheid was born on December 2, 1973 and is therefore always allowed to celebrate the special days of her daughters. In the 831-strong community, everyone is twice as happy at every festival. After all, no bond is closer than that of a mother with her child.
