Late summer warm – up to 29 degrees possible in rain and thunderstorms

The late summer weather in Austria remains, but slightly more unstable than the week before. However, the maximum values ​​sometimes rise to just under 30 degrees.

The sunny weather sets in assembly largely through, before some cumulus clouds form in the afternoon. A few rain showers are only possible in the mountains. In most regions, however, it remains dry and sunny. In the afternoon temperatures are between 21 and 28 degrees.

In the west of the country there is am tuesday morning already more clouds and first rain showers, especially on the north side of the Alps. Over the course of the day, there will also be more downpours and isolated thunderstorms across Austria. The early temperatures are between 8 and 18 degrees. The maximum daytime temperatures rise to 29 degrees.

Of the Wednesday starts with isolated fog fields. During the day, however, sunny weather prevails in most regions. Only above the mountains does the chance of showers and thunderstorms increase considerably. The temperatures are between 23 and 28 degrees.

A southwestern cold front is moving Thursday throughout Austria. Dense clouds and rain will increase during the day. Occasionally, storm clouds may also appear. It will probably remain dry in the southeast. In the morning, up to 17 degrees are expected. By midday, temperatures between 23 and 28 degrees can be reached.

After a few remaining clouds it turns on Freitag much warmer and sunnier. Only isolated cumulus clouds form in the late afternoon. Rain showers can occur especially in the mountains. There is also a chance of thunderstorms on the south side of the Alps. Still, it remains warm in late summer with up to 26 degrees in parts of Austria.
