Zaporizhia plant disconnects its last reactor after new bombing

On Saturday, the nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe, was already disconnected from the Ukrainian electricity grid after several bomb attacks in the area.

Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is shut down the last reactor still in operation after a fire caused by new attacks in the area, as reported by the Ukrainian state-owned company Energoatom.

The Ukrainian authorities have also reported that: “any repair to the lines is currently impossible”because of the fights around the plant.

On Saturday, the nuclear power station, the largest in Europe, was already operational disconnected from the Ukrainian electricity grid after several bombings in the area, as then found by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
