Recent verbal blunder against a young woman: “Aren’t you ashamed? If you walk like this, you’re ruining people’s ablution rituals. Now my ablution is ruined!” The man poses as a guardian of morals and ridicules his victim, who clearly does not speak Turkish.

And he is successful in that. The channel of tastelessness already has almost 1.3 million followers on YouTube. Criticism now comes from the Turkish community in Vienna. “To the shame, the manner and the vocabulary are just disgusting. No Austro-Turkish family will accept such a conversation,” said Birol Kilic, president of the Turkish Cultural Community.
The police were also involved: “We are aware of this and the responsible inspection service has already launched an investigation.”
