Fire alarm on Friday evening in Wörgl in the Tyrolean Unterland: A parked car caught fire for unknown reasons and burned out almost completely. No one was injured. The police started an investigation.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m., the car parked on Karl-Schönherr-Strasse in Wörgl suddenly caught fire. According to the police, a car parked next to it was also badly damaged due to the enormous heat development.

The fire was eventually brought under control and extinguished by the alerted fire brigade. The cause of the fire is still unclear and is under police investigation. The Wörgl volunteer fire brigade was deployed with 25 emergency services and two vehicles.
