Slap in the face
However, the 34-year-old suspect was extremely aggressive towards the officers. Suddenly he clenched his fist and punched a policewoman in the face, who was injured in the attack. The alleged perpetrator also tried to attack the other officers with kicks. Pepper spray was used, the 34-year-old was overpowered and provisionally arrested.

The officials then alerted the Vienna professional rescue service for the use of pepper spray, but the man refused treatment. Due to the suspicion that he had beaten the 27-year-old, a ban on entering and approaching him, as well as a preliminary weapons ban, was issued. The man did not confess during his interrogation. He was generally reported on behalf of the Vienna Public Prosecution Service.
