An 83-year-old senior had to spend a cool night on the banks of the Inn in Rum near Innsbruck. The woman was reported missing on Sunday evening after she did not return to the nursing home after a walk. The pensioner was discovered Monday morning by a walker.
The elderly woman went for a walk on Sunday. However, because she did not return to the nursing home in Rum and had to assume the worst, she was reported missing to the police around 8.30 pm.
“A search with the Rum Fire Department and several police patrols, including service dogs, was unsuccessful,” the director said.
Pram found hypothermic woman
Then Monday morning a big sigh of relief. The 83-year-old was found at 6:30 a.m. by a hiker in the South Bank area of the Inn. The woman was apparently unharmed but hypothermic. She was hospitalized.
