Everything is new with the daily corona figures: after the standardization announced on Monday, AGES reported 4915 new corona infections in Austria from 14:00 on Tuesday. Another corona infected person died. There was a slight increase in the number of corona patients in hospitals.
The corona figures in the country have been passed on in a standardized way since Tuesday. The values of two data sources are no longer published, only an AGES checked and corrected version. This also changes the time of the daily Corona message. It only happens in the afternoon.
The data status is given by AGES at 2pm. The individual corona figures – so hospital admissions, deaths and new infections – are counted until midnight of the next day.
On Monday, eight new patients were added to the normal wards and five to intensive care units.
