Is this one of the bleakest stadiums in the country? Young children enjoying life on the slide playing a few meters from the tombstones.
It is located in southeast London and has been referred to by one woman as a stadium that can only be used in emergencies. Others were labeled “weird”, but were also praised for “good use of space”.
The courtyard of St Mary’s Church in Rotterheit is where children play with park equipment, including a metal slide painted blue and red, May London reports. The stadium, near Rotherheit Street, lies on a layer of moss from green sidewalk under logs surrounded by trees and riverside apartments.

Vanessa Himek, 39, who was in Baggy with a child there, told MyLondon: “This is a playground you use in an emergency. We always think it’s funny, my husband always says you’re born and then you die. I very much love it.” I feel love for him.”
Saskia Dykstra, who saw her son playing on a sleigh, said she couldn’t understand when it came to the cemetery: “We’re talking about death and burial. He actually told me I saw that old man in the cemetery.” I said he was going to the beach.
Other passersby commented on the actual layout. Roger Squires, 82, a retiree from Rotherheit, said: “Sure, the tombstones are there, but the youngsters have a place to play. I don’t think the kids think about that. I think he makes good use of the space.”

American visitor Jason Becker, 40, admitted that American stadiums “were not usually close to a cemetery.” “This is a good use of space, but it’s a little weird,” he added.
Londoners were less permissive on Facebook. Paul Jones said, “If you break your neck on a slider, they don’t have to go very far.” “When they can’t stop them dancing on someone’s grave,” Lawrence Staden said.
