A judge in Oviedo has ordered the entry into custody of a man accused of killing a 14-year-old girl who was found dead inside the building where his family lived last Tuesday.
As collected New SpainThe Magistrate of the Investigative Court No. 2 in the capital of Asturias, after the request of the prosecutor, made a decision naming the attempted murder and sexual assault.
One of the young woman’s brothers found traces of blood from a lifeless body by 4:00 pm, inside a building located at 69 Vasquez de Mela Street, in the Valobin district of Oviedo.
Arriving at a place alerted by neighbors, National Police agents found a 30-year-old man – a resident of the same building – who also had bleeding and sustained wounds, presumably caused by him.
The accused was taken as a detainee to the Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA), where the magistrate left, despite his refusal to testify before him. He will go to jail after being discharged due to injuries received.
