Together, the Tyrolean mountain rescue service and the Sölden police rescued a child who had fallen about 30 meters from a steep slope. The runaway is now safely back with its owner.
Holidaymakers were aware of the heartbreaking screaming animal in the municipality of Sölden. They immediately called the police. It was immediately clear that it would be a matter for the mountain rescuers from Sölden. Because they are known to have a big heart for animals. They have not proven that just once in the past.
Abseiled 30 meters over the wall
Mountain rescuer Simon Santer rappelled down the steep slope or cliff for about 100 feet to the four-legged, helpless runaway, who had probably overestimated his natural climbing skills. Then he led the frightened animal safely back onto a path.
There he handed over the fortunately unharmed child to Christoph Klausner of the Sölden police. Finally, he brought the little, screaming runaway safely to its owner.
