For 16 days, the police have been investigating a mysterious missing person in Linz. On Monday, the missing 53-year-old was found dead in the basement of the house from which she disappeared.
Due to the disappearance of 53-year-old Beatrix H., the police quickly took action. After an argument with her new partner, she disappeared from his apartment, reportedly taking only a pillow.
The apartment building was searched from basement to attic and checked where it was. For 16 days there was no indication of where the woman, who had only recently moved to Linz, was. She also did not contact family members.

On Monday, police again searched the apartment building from which the 53-year-old had disappeared. And in the basement the police dog struck – the body of the missing person was found. Now that the exact circumstances of the death have to be determined, the public prosecutor in Linz has ordered an autopsy.
