Two Germans were partially injured in a motorcycle accident on the L21 near Namlos in the Tyrolean town of Ausserfern on Sunday. A 41-year-old slipped on the guardrail and a 27-year-old fell down a slope.

The more serious accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. when a 41-year-old German was driving from Namlos towards Berwang. According to witness statements, the motorcyclist suddenly upended his vehicle in a bend to the left, causing him to land on the verge and then fall. The man then slid several meters over the guardrail before sustaining serious injuries.

A following motorcyclist and another road user provided the German with first aid until the emergency doctor arrived. The seriously injured man had to be flown by emergency helicopter to the clinic in Murnau, Germany.

The 27-year-old was shocked and fell down the slope
A few minutes earlier, an accident had also occurred on the L21, this time towards Stanzach. A 27-year-old German was driving around a left bend when a car came towards him. This scared the man so much that he went over the right side of the road and fell down a slight slope.

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries to his right shoulder. After first aid at the scene of the accident, the rescue team took him to the hospital in Reutte.
