Are visitors threatened by the security personnel at the Hietzing Clinic? A Viennese filed a complaint. More victims emerge.
Last weekend, the “Krone” report of an incident, including an alleged dangerous threat by a Hietzing Clinic security officer, sparked excitement and reaction from a visitor trying to drive into the parking lot.
The young father reported that an employee threatened him with the “head-off gesture”. He backs up his story with a police report. The board has already launched an investigation. The clinic confirms an incident, but there were no threats. On the contrary, the “complainant had become aggressive” and insulted the staff. It is now the task of the police to clarify this.
Readers report similar incidents
However, it should not be an isolated case. According to the report, several people have come forward and are talking about similar incidents. “In February, the guards hit my father-in-law on the roof of the car,” a “Krone” reader said by email. Another: “I had huge problems there myself. Only the doctors could convince the guard that I had to drive in to pick someone up. Then a form letter arrived from the hospital management.”
“Story fairly believable”
A reader reports: “As a family member, I myself had to go to Hietzing hospital several times and went through security several times. What the Lord describes is very believable.”
