Almost all summer, a 60-year-old didn’t get a single delivery: problems with the delivery district as the reason.
Alberndorf, Altenberg and now also Linz: More and more readers are reporting to the “Krone”, some of whom have horrifying experiences with the post office. But one thing unites them all: they had to wait days and weeks for their posts, although the company never tire of insisting that everything is fine and that there is currently no shortage of staff in Upper Austria.
“Had no percentage choices for weeks”
Now a woman from Linz (60) has come forward who has experienced incredible things in the summer: “I live in Kaisergasse, in the summer there was no mail for nine weeks.” The woman called the customer center weekly, but was always delayed. “I am entitled to my post and also to the advertisements. I like the. Above all, I had to do without the percentage picks from the local suppliers for weeks,” she says. The delivery is now working again, albeit not completely optimal.

The “Krone” asked the post office. And the answer is astonishing: “There were internal reasons why there was no regular delivery person in this district. It was about the nature and characteristics of the territory.” That means the districts were switched and adapted, but it was the residents of the affected streets who suffered.
