Concerned passers-by alerted police on Saturday night after they noticed shots had been fired from a park in Vienna-Brigittenau. A group of men fired pistols into the air.
When the police arrived at Sachsenplatz, one of the men had just fired several shots into the air with a blank pistol, to the applause of the others involved. No one was injured.
Ten men in total
The firearms and ammunition were secured in the vehicle of a 20-year-old. A temporary firearms ban was also imposed. Prohibited pyrotechnic items were also seized by another man. In total, ten men have to take into account multiple advertisements.
