Monday night, shortly before midnight, a robbery took place on the Wiener Bundesstrasse in Hallwang (Salzburg). An assailant in a balaclava and face mask stormed into the Jet gas station, threatened the employee and took off with cash. The manhunt is on.
The perpetrator took out a “gun-like object” during the robbery around 11:30 pm, according to police spokesman Hans Wolfgruber: “It is a single male perpetrator, dressed in black and about 1.80 meters tall.” the gun pressured the gas station employee and demanded cash. But the criminal made little loot.
After the attack, he was able to flee. Detectives were able to find clues at the crime scene. The search for the unknown perpetrator is ongoing, according to the management.
