Time and again ghost and scrap cars spoil the landscape in Carinthia. After a “Krone” message about a car in Spittal, something finally happens.
The “Krone” can be a success. After a report about the scrap car that had been rusting on the Spittal side of the road outside the city towards Villach after the motorway exit for years, the Spittal municipality responded quickly. “We immediately located and informed the owner of the old Opel, it is a Pole,” announced Mayor Gerhard Köfer. “He has two weeks to pick up the car, otherwise we will do it and it will end up on the scrapyard.”
The old car, with broken tires, windows and hood, was parked there after an accident. “A wreck like this doesn’t belong here. It harms the environment and destroys the landscape,” the mayor continued.
