In India, police are looking for a teacher who allegedly killed a student because of a spelling mistake.
According to his father, 15-year-old high school student Nikhil Dohre was beaten unconscious by the teacher with a rod and kicked earlier this month for misspelling the word “social” in a test.

He eventually died in a hospital in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The teacher in charge is on the run, “but we will arrest him soon,” a police spokesman said Tuesday.
