A tourist refused to check out on Friday and let off steam in a Viennese hostel. The police had to intervene.
For an Italian (25) the previous night was probably more in the “wet and happy” category. In any case, the tourist got off to a particularly difficult start on Friday morning. He should have checked out of his hostel room on Fünfhauser Felberstrasse long ago.
Only: he didn’t want to. Instead, around noon, he acted ruthlessly, destroying the furniture in the room and throwing a mattress out the window into the street, then his wallet at an employee’s head. The enraged man also attacked one of the alarmed officials. He was overpowered – ad!
Expensive bike flew out the window into the courtyard
A few hours earlier, something flew out the window, this time in Hernals. A 35-year-old searched in vain for his bike. Thieves had stolen it before, but thanks to an app, he was able to track the bike to an apartment. When the summoned officers knocked, they heard a window open in the apartment.
The two thieves – a Russian (27) and a 39-year-old Slovenian – simply threw the sports equipment out the window into the courtyard. WEGA opened the door and arrested the two thieves. They still don’t show up.
