The number of new infections in Austria is again in five figures: 12,317 new cases were registered on Thursday for the day before. The number of corona patients in hospitals has risen sharply again.
According to AGES, there were 1397 corona patients in the normal wards, an increase of 77 patients. 67 patients were cared for in the intensive care unit, a decrease of six.
The data status of the epidemiological reporting system (EMS), the corona pandemic in Austria is updated daily in the afternoon in the dashboard of AGES (Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety). The data reflect the events in the period from midnight to midnight of the respective day before wider.
