The VAT supported by the feminine hygiene products, condoms and non-medical contraceptives will drop from the reduced rate of 10% to the super-reduced rate of 4% by 2023as confirmed by sources of the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Spain.
The measure will be included in the general state budget for 2023, after agreement has been reached within the fiscal package negotiated by the Spanish government’s partners.
