A nighttime accident in a field in the Murtal district (Styria) kept emergency services busy late Wednesday evening.
At half past ten in the evening a large contingent of ambulance, fire brigade and police moved to St. Lorenzen near Knittelfeld. A person’s foot got stuck in a harvester in a field.

The fire brigade had to disassemble part of the machine to free the trapped man. The person was then treated by ambulance and taken to hospital. She sustained injuries of unknown nature.
The nighttime rescue operation lasted about an hour. A total of 27 people were involved in the operation. It is not yet clear how the accident could have happened.
