At least 174 people died and 180 were injured at a football match in Indonesia, in the province of Java Orienta, Saturday night. Apparently the fans of the teams that played the game were pisteados and crushed as they tried to flee from a disturbance.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo, for his part, has said authorities should thoroughly assess match safety, adding that he hopes Saturday’s match will be “the country’s last football tragedy”. Likewise, he ordered the suspension of all first league matches from Indonesia until an investigation into what happened is completed.
