A farmer was amazed when he came across a hemp plantation while harvesting in the fields between Schwaz and Vomp in Tyrol. He reported his find to the police. The “breeders” initially searched for this in vain. Further investigations are underway.
If you don’t have room for a hemp plantation in your own yard or basement, you need to be inventive. And so previously unknown perpetrators came up with the unusual idea to place their drug cultivation in a cornfield between Schwaz and Vomp of all places.
The farmer was currently harvesting and was surprised to find hemp plants in two places in the field while chopping. The “breeders” probably thought about the harvest too late. The farmer informed the police in an exemplary manner.
The police transported a total of 53 perennials
“Yes, the find has been reported to us and we have removed a total of 53 perennials,” said a police officer from the Schwaz Inspectorate. The officials arranged it with their own trailer. “Unfortunately, we were unable to identify the perpetrators,” the researcher said in the Krone interview.
But the work is not done yet: now the perennials are dried and harvested. It is about determining the weight, because in any legal procedure the amount would play a role in the sentence. Another station for the perennials is the regional court, from where they will be destroyed according to regulations.
