Mahsa Amini22, died on September 16 after being arrested three days earlier by the so-called moral police in Tehran for believing she was wearing the Islamic veil incorrectly.
Iran’s state-run forensic medicine organization said Friday that Amini died of a previous illness, not police beatings. The family continues to denounce that Amini has died for the beating he received while in custody.
