Who is to blame? – Zelenskyj: cowardice becomes a “disaster”

Date:

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Moscow does not have the courage to admit its misguided policies towards its neighbor. “They dare not admit that for decades they have taken wrong positions and spent colossal resources to support human zeros that they wanted to build as future heroes of Ukrainian-Russian friendship,” Zelenskyy said in his daily video address on Sunday evening.

Moscow’s attempt to build its own people in Ukraine failed. Because these people are “trained only to stuff money from Russia into their own pockets”. And to cover up these mistakes, new mistakes were made. But in doing so, Russia deprived itself of all political instruments and eventually started this war.

Selenskyj speaks of “cowardice”
Moreover, Russia is trying to put the blame for everything on Ukraine. “They seized Crimea, we would be responsible for that,” Zelenskyy said. “They have destroyed any normal life in Donbass, we would be responsible for that. They’ve been killing people in our country for eight years, they say it’s our fault.”

So is the destruction of Eastern Europe’s strongest economic region and the destruction of the lives of millions of people. “And in the end they started a full-scale war against us, and again we are to blame.” And all this out of “pure cowardice,” Zelenskyy summed up.

“And when cowardice increases, it becomes a catastrophe,” said the head of state. “When people lack the courage to admit mistakes, apologize, adapt to reality, they turn into monsters,” he said, referring to the Kremlin leadership. “And if the world ignores this, the monsters decide that the world must adapt to them.” Yet the day will come when Russia will have to admit the truth.
