Milk has become 25.1% more expensive in the past year; heating, lighting and water distribution 24.8; oils and fats have increased their prices by 23.8%; eggs are 23.6% more expensive and grains and by-products cost 22.3% more.

Spain’s year-over-year CPI continues its moderate decline after registering 8.9% in September. As for the products that affect the shopping cart, these are the ones that have become more expensive: milk, oil, eggs and cereals.

Milk has become 25.1% more expensive in the past year; heating, lighting and water distribution 24.8; oils and fats have increased their prices by 23.8%; eggs are 23.6% more expensive and grains and by-products cost 22.3% more.

Similarly, poultry meat (18.1%), dairy products (17.3%), fresh legumes and vegetables (17.9%), potatoes and their preparations (16.8%) are rising more than fifteen percentage points.
