After the boy got to the balcony of the stable building in Styria, he apparently lost his balance and suddenly fell down. The 10-year-old was seriously injured in the accident in Birkfeld (Weiz).
At about 10.45 am, the boy must have ended up on the demolished balcony of the family stable unnoticed. Then the accident took its course: the boy fell three meters from the balcony, which is currently being renovated, onto a concrete floor for reasons still unknown. The 10-year-old suffered serious injuries.
Father found his son
The boy’s father saw his son lying on the ground and immediately came to his aid. After first aid from the Red Cross and an emergency doctor, the 10-year-old was taken to the regional hospital in Graz.
