In the Spanish state, the interannual interest rate for September is 3.5%, nine-tenths higher than that in August.
September’s CPI rose to 3.6% in the Basque Autonomous Community and 3.4% in Navarre, mainly due to the increase in electricity and fuel prices.
According to data published on Tuesday by the National Statistical Institute (INE), the interannual rate for September was nine and six tenths higher than the interannual rate recorded in August, in the BAC and Navarra respectively.
On a monthly basis (from August to September), the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.1% in both the BAC and Navarra.
So far this year, inflation is up 3.5% in the BAC and 3.4% in Navarre.
