In the municipality of Grafenstein in Carinthia, a serious industrial accident occurred on Monday while loading trucks.
“A 37-year-old truck driver from Feldkirchen was injured during loading work in the municipality of Grafenstein because his ring was trapped on the side wall when he jumped from the truck loading dock,” police said.

The 37-year-old had failed to remove the ring from his ring finger during the work, and that was his downfall. “The ring was jammed so hard on the side of the ship that it wouldn’t come off even when we jumped. The whole finger was chopped off by this force.”
After first aid on the spot, the man was taken by ambulance to the Klagenfurt clinic.
