Monday morning there was a serious fire in the outbuilding of a residential building in Frauental (Styria). The fire brigade was able to prevent the flames from spreading to other buildings with a large contingent.
When firefighters arrived at the scene of the accident just after 10 a.m., the building was already completely engulfed in flames. The Florianis therefore initially focused on protecting the surrounding houses.
Quickly under control
The fire, which is believed to have started in a boiler room, was quickly brought under control. The operation lasted several hours, in total 62 firefighters with 15 vehicles were engaged in the extinguishing work.
No one was injured in the fire, but there was significant material damage. The cause of the fire is now being determined by the police.
