PUBLICATION OF THE JUDGMENT at the request of MMag. Dr Martin Kitzberger
Due to the publication of an article on October 10, 2020 on the website www.krone.at with the headline “Chaos reigns behind the prison walls in Asten”, alleging that applicant MMag. Dr Martin Kitzberger, as interim head of the prison in Asten, was responsible for the violence used by detainees there against guards and was therefore investigated for abuse of office, a medium in relation to the applicant MMag. Dr Martin Kitzberger has established the objective facts of defamation according to Article 111, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code.
The defendant Krone Multimedia GmbH & Co KG has been requested to pay compensation to the applicant MMag. Dr Martin Kitzberger and ordered to publish the verdict.
