Three knife attacks were reported to the Vienna police on Wednesday. One of the victims had serious injuries to his thigh and was therefore immediately taken to a hospital.
In Vienna-Simmering, a woman (39) asked a witness for help because she had previously attacked her friend (45) with a knife. After the alarmed police officers arrived at the apartment, they found the seriously injured man on the floor. He had a cut on his thigh. The woman was arrested and taken to a detention center. The man is in the hospital.
Second attack in favorites Vienna
The second case occurred in Vienna-Favorit. Police say there was a scuffle between several men. During the argument, a 22-year-old tried to stab two other men with a knife. One was slightly injured. The suspect has been arrested. Police are also investigating a possible accomplice.
17 year old arrested
Also in Vienna-Hietzing the police were alerted because of a loud argument. During a family quarrel, according to the police, a heated argument arose between several family members. A 17-year-old allegedly stabbed a man in the back with a knife. Fortunately he was not seriously injured. Other participants also attacked each other with fist punches. The officers quickly ended the fight. The 17-year-old has been arrested.
