“Worry Us” – Custody Transferred to City: Two Girls Missing

Date:

The Vienna Child and Youth Care (MA 11) is looking for two children. On October 11, due to imminent danger, custody was transferred from the parents to the city of Vienna. Since then, however, there is no trace of the family, who have been cared for by MA 11 for a long time.

The last personal contact was in August during a visit by social workers. After the transfer of custody, the parents were asked to hand over the children, Andrea Friemel of MA 11 said, but this did not happen. Because the family was no longer in their apartment, the children were reported missing.

Despite an intensive search by the police, the whereabouts of the parents and children are unknown. At the request of the Vienna Child and Youth Care, the police published photos of the sisters on Thursday to determine their whereabouts. “Because we’re really worried,” Friemel said.

Police are asking people who saw the girls to contact police. Tips (also anonymous) can be requested from the Staatsrecherche, department of Vienna South under the telephone number 01/31310/57800.

Description of the deceased
The three-year-old was described as having shoulder-length brown hair and hazel eyes. She is one meter long and weighs 16 kilograms. The seven-year-old has blond hair and brown eyes. She is 1.25 meters tall and weighs 20 kilograms. It is unclear which clothes the girls last wore.
