The vehicle scrapped ready, the driver seriously injured in hospital – that is the balance of an accident Monday afternoon in Brandenberg. A 20-year-old had crashed into a sloping field with his tractor.
The young local man was driving his tractor on a steep field when the tractor suddenly skidded. The vehicle then flipped over and overturned. According to the police, the 20-year-old was thrown from the cabin and was left lying with a leg injury.
The tractor overturned several times. The vehicle fell a total of 170 meters down the slope before coming to a stop on its wheels again, badly damaged. A neighbor saw the accident and set the rescue chain in motion. The seriously injured man was taken to hospital.
