The “Prime Sausage” – an extra treat for Austria
To properly celebrate Prime Day, Amazon went looking for the best sausage in Austria for its Austrian Prime members. 19 producers from all over Austria – from the Weinviertel to the Tiroler Unterland – took part in the “Prime-Sausage” competition, which ended in Vienna at the end of June with the selection of the best sausage creations (see video above).
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, selected sausage stands across Austria now offer the “Prime sausage” – free, in limited quantities and while supplies last – in the “classic” and “vegan” versions for Prime members. The first chance to get your hands on the first-class sausage is on July 11 at 8:00 am at the “Bosner Eck” in Linz. For night owls, for example, the “boiling point” in Innsbruck is open until 02:00.
Information on when, where and what hours Prime members can grab the “Prime sausage” (after showing their Prime membership status on the Amazon app) is available at www.amazon.at/prime-wurst.
