Fuss about termination – demo for Landhaus: Now “bus boss” is going full throttle

Date:

After the contracts ended, entrepreneur Sabine Zuklin-Pollany went on the offensive. 15 buses parked as “protesters” in front of the mansion in St. Pölten.

With some self-criticism, great irritation and 15 “protest fines”, the Klosterneuburg entrepreneur Sabine Zuklin-Pollany traveled to St. Pölten on Friday morning. Their goal: a meeting with state councilor Ludwig Schleritzko and the director of the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR), Wolfgang Schroll. Although those involved did not want to respond substantively, the message for the country house was clear. In the VOR, the culprit is seen in the dilemma surrounding the public buses in the Vienna area. As reported, the latter has canceled the contract with Zuklin that took effect in mid-August due to cancellations and delays.

“Not until we have it under control…”
“Yes, we were initially suffocated in chaos as we also suffered from the general lack of drivers. When we had it under control, the termination came,” Zuklin-Pollany doesn’t understand the move. But she sees common problems in the industry: “The given timetables are not working. The drivers’ basic needs are not taken into account and they are running away from us in droves.” She now wants to calmly consider whether she will take legal action against the termination.

“Only One Doesn’t Work”
You see it differently at the VOR. “We have contracts with 40 companies for about 900 lines, only one is not working. We have received complaints until the last minute,” it says.
