An Unterlander (19) had to be taken to hospital in Kufstein (Tirol) on Saturday with serious head injuries. The young man was attacked by a 23-year-old in front of the canteen on the football field in Niederndorf. As a “weapon” he used a bottle.
The incident was not reported until Monday, but had already taken place on Saturday evening. According to police, the 19-year-old was brutally attacked and seriously injured.
Dispute escalated and 19-year-old fell to the floor
After an initial verbal altercation, a 23-year-old punched the young man, causing him to fall to the ground. When he tried to stand up again, the older man hit his opponent on the head with a bottle, causing him to collapse and briefly pass out.
The 19-year-old was eventually taken to hospital in Kufstein by an acquaintance. There was a serious head injury.
