“Everyone is concerned” – waitress Kerstin M. is missing: was it an accident?

Date:

The village of Oberhöflein is in shock: “There is helplessness, everyone is worried,” says former mayor Werner Neubert about the disappeared Kerstin M. Meanwhile, the investigations of the criminal investigations continue – but the new findings raise more questions than answers. One thing is certain: if the 48-year-old took her usual way home, then it certainly wasn’t an accident!

A week ago today, there was the last sign of life from the waitress Kerstin M. Around 7.30 pm, the 48-year-old quit her job, the fishing paradise in Hessendorf, and wanted to go to her apartment building in Oberhöflein in the Hoorn district. But she never got there.

With the usual way home: act of violence!
Large-scale searches by the executive branch have so far been unsuccessful, but people are still hoping for information from the population. The less than three kilometers long way home was often searched by helicopters. “If she has taken this route, we can rule out an accident,” one hears from police circles, meaning that there must have been a violent crime.

Still no information – the population is required
M., who moved from the city to the countryside only a year and a half ago, could have taken a completely different route with her Aixam (registration number HO-53HR). Police confirm that so far there is no evidence of an act of violence or an accident – they are investigating in all directions.

The huge search area with over 30 ponds needs to be combed through by any means necessary – that means divers, dinghies, sniffer dogs, helicopters, volunteer organizations and more can be used. The radius is primarily intended for the range of your moped, so smaller.

“We are a quiet place”
“We are a quiet, peaceful place. Everyone wonders how this is possible with us. Everyone is worried, people are constantly asking if there is anything new. But our hope for a happy ending is getting weaker,” said Werner Neubert, former mayor of the municipality of Weitersfeld and Oberhöfleiner.

Neighbor Wolfgang Karner emphasizes the always cheerful character, just like her boss, landlord of the fishing paradise: “She was always reliable and punctual. There was nothing!”
