A Stubaital woman (85) was seriously injured in an extremely unfortunate accident on Thursday. Now the bad news came from the Innsbruck clinic: the woman died there.
On Thursday around 4 p.m., the 85-year-old Austrian wanted to remove a rope that her great-grandchildren had tied to a tree in Neustift. She may have lost her balance when she untied the knot and fell about twenty feet from a steep bank. The injured person was then flown by helicopter to the University Hospital Innsbruck.
As the clinic and police have now announced, the victim of the accident died Friday at the Innsbruck clinic from serious head injuries he sustained.
