After the attack on two men at a Vienna S-Bahn station at the end of May, in which the two victims were seriously injured, the police were able to track down the five suspected perpetrators. After the publication of mugshots, numerous tips came in.
As previously reported, the bloody attack took place on May 22. The reason would have been too loud music that the two men heard on the S-Bahn. Three members of the group of five are said to have asked the duo to turn off the music.
After getting off at the Meidling S-Bahn station, there was an attack on Wilhelmstrae around 0.30 am. The five, initially unknown, attacked the two men. The two victims suffered stab and cut wounds and were seriously injured. The group fled after the attack.

The manhunt photos released by the police in early October should now lead to success. Many tips were received by the management, and the five alleged perpetrators and a witness could then be investigated.
The five suspects have been released on suspicion of deliberately inflicting serious bodily harm, police spokeswoman Barbara Gass said on Thursday. Four of the suspects have already been questioned, it said.
