A 66-year-old woman from Burgenland was killed in a serious traffic accident on the B50 between Wulkaprodersdorf and Eisenstadt on Thursday afternoon. The cause of the accident is still part of the investigation.
Due to a previously unknown cause, the driver collided with a truck around 1.30 pm, according to the Burgenland police. All help came too late for them. According to the State Security Center (LSZ), the truck driver was not injured.

Three fire brigades were involved in the recovery of the badly damaged vehicle. According to the LSZ, after the emergency call, it was assumed that the accident car was on fire, but that was ultimately not the case. At first there was talk of a motorist as the victim of the accident, but according to the police it was a 66-year-old woman from Burgenland. Police, ambulance and ambulance were present.
