With 100 researchers, Greta Thunberg releases the “Climate Bible”.

Date:

With her school strike, Greta Thunberg became a pioneer against the passivity of politicians in the face of climate change. She is now publishing a book in which about 100 researchers explain the current situation in the climate crisis.

The Swedish climate activist asked international researchers to submit an up-to-date status report on the climate catastrophe. The contributions have been collected in the 500-page ‘The Climate Book’, which serves as a reference work.

“I firmly believe that the only way we can avoid the worst effects of this emerging existential crisis is by bringing together a critical mass of people demanding the necessary changes,” the 19-year-old wrote in her foreword.

The work introduces the subject and explains how the climate works. Topics such as melting ice, species extinction, deforestation, water shortages and future food production are extensively discussed.

“The most effective way out of this confused situation is to continue our education,” Thunberg tells us, which is sure to be a long and difficult one.
