At least 13 people have been injured in a shoot Tuesday registered in the new york subwayin which, according to local media, apparently also a gas bomb was detonated.

Footage circulated on social networks shows several injured and bloodied people being treated on a platform at Brooklyn’s 36th Street station, near Sunset Park.
Some photos of a smoke-filled subway have also been published, and for now it’s unclear whether the shooting took place at the station or on a train.

Authorities have asked citizens to avoid the areawhere numerous ambulances and police units have been deployed.
The governor of the state, Kathy Hochulwrote on Twitter that he has been notified of the situation in Brooklyn and that emergency services are in the area.
