Wild driving maneuvers made two drivers so angry that one threatened the other with an ax and would kill them. Witnesses alerted the police.
After mutually dangerous driving maneuvers, a heated argument broke out between motorists at an intersection in Pregarten on Wednesday around 10:30 am. The side mirror of the car of a Linz resident (63) was previously damaged. The man angrily got out of the car, took an ax from the vehicle and threatened his 18-year-old opponent from Wartberg/A. and his passenger.
Weapon ban
He allegedly threatened to kill them both, and a witness filed a complaint. A total of two axes, two knives and a gas pistol were found in the 63-year-old’s car. A weapons ban was imposed on the Linzer. The police discovered that the Mühlviertler suffered from drug addiction. Both men were reported. The 18-year-old’s driver’s license was also temporarily confiscated.
