Tyrolean now convicted – because of snail’s pace: Wrong police officer threatened grandma

Date:

Anger over a grandmother at a snail’s pace – a Tyrolean (52) pretended to be a supervisor for an elderly person and wanted to get “colleagues” on the Zirlerberg for punishment. The woman was intimidated but then drove on and reported the aggressive man. He has now been convicted at the Innsbruck Regional Court and must pay a fine.

One summer evening, the local defendant was in a hurry on the steep road from the Inn Valley to Seefeld. Ironically, a woman from Innsbruck (66) crawled along at a snail’s pace and then stopped in a siding. To watch chamois with her grandson, as the woman testified as a witness.

Even grandkids were scared
Furious, the suspect also stopped and claimed, according to her statement, that he was from the police. He now gets “his colleagues”, who will impose a fine. “My grandson’s eyes widened, he is still afraid of bearded men,” the woman recalls the unpleasant meeting. Then she got in without further ado, locked the door trembling and drove on. She later reported the screamer.

The suspect did not recall the exact wording during the trial. He admitted the conflict with the lady, although he had never been guilty of such a thing in his life. The empty criminal record confirmed this.

Not a serious scam because no money was asked
Ultimately, the judge found the alleged serious fraud not proven. Because the 52-year-old had not specifically asked for money. However, his claim that he was a police officer was taking office.

Because the man has a reasonably good income, the fine of 3150 euros (half conditionally) was substantial.
