Shock moment for a motorcyclist early Monday morning in the Tyrolean Zirl (Innsbruck-Land district): The 32-year-old German crashed into a chamois that had run on the road, fell and suffered serious injuries.
The serious accident happened just after 12:30 p.m. The German was on the B171 Tiroler Straße coming from Innsbruck towards Zirl when suddenly two chamois appeared on the road.
Collision with third animal
The 32-year-old noticed this in time and reduced his speed accordingly. But then suddenly a third animal sprang into the street. The motorcyclist was unable to respond this time.
With rescue to the clinic
There was a collision – and the German fell on the road. He sustained injuries as a result. After first aid, he was taken by ambulance to the Innsbruck clinic.
