Serious accident on All Saints’ Day in the Ausserfern region of Tyrol: there was a collision between two cars in convoy traffic on the Fernpass road. The German driver (77) of a Porsche ended up in a ditch. The oncoming driver (63) suffered serious injuries.
For reasons not yet clarified, the 77-year-old German, who was driving from Heiterwang in the direction of Reutte, ended up in the oncoming lane around 3.30 pm and collided with the oncoming car of the 63-year-old local. There was convoy traffic in both directions.
Landed in the ditch
The consequences of the collision: The German’s car only came to a stop in the left ditch 60 meters after the accident site. The 63-year-old was seriously injured in the collision. After receiving first aid on the spot, she was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Reutte. Significant material damage was caused to both vehicles.
