A three-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon. The boy had previously single-handedly opened the closed window on the first floor of the family home and then fell almost four meters down.
The three-year-old boy from the Kirchdorf district climbed onto the windowsill on the first floor of a family house in the Kirchdorf district around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and opened the closed window. The child may have leaned against the screen, which could not withstand the pressure and tore as a result. The three-year-old fell from a height of 3.85 meters onto the terrace below and suffered serious injuries.
The injured child was flown to the hospital by the emergency doctor helicopter “Martin 3”.
